Contributors are prompted for a screen type and take a full-device screenshot in whichever app they choose, so each image shows the status bar, the system navigation and the layout at that device's resolution and font scale. Cropped components and screens showing balances or private messages are sent back. The contributor base is global, strongest in Southeast Asia, the United States and Europe, so the super-apps and wallets missing from US-collected GUI corpora sit alongside American and European apps. No element annotations are included; most teams will add grounding boxes first. Rico is a 2017 Android-only corpus, and app-store screenshots are marketing, not state.
