Photograph the tag or the offer sign straight on, close enough that the digits are sharp; unreadable prices and steep angles do not get through review. The task runs only in 11 Southeast Asian countries, so expect pesos, rupiah, ringgit, baht and dong, label stock from electronic shelf labels to marker-pen cardboard, and promotional conventions (buy-one-take-one, bundle pricing, member prices). No transcriptions or price fields are included; the dense, small-format numerals are the annotation target and the close framing makes it a fast one. Price intelligence firms scrape the web and hold little imagery of physical in-store labeling, and existing OCR sets lean on North American and European shelf-edge formats.
