COMMERCIAL
RAW
The shopkeeper asks the customer's permission, confirms it in the app, aims the phone at counter and hands, and records the whole sale. Unconfirmed consent, cut-short sales, staged customers and children in frame are refused. Recruitment is confined to 11 Southeast Asian countries, one clip each. A sari-sari store or warung sale holds cash handling, mental arithmetic, informal credit, retrieval from unstructured shelving and a conversation, in three minutes and one take; several are open problems for service robots, and the setting is how hundreds of millions shop. Supermarket video is a ceiling camera over a checkout lane, little manipulation, no negotiation. We know of no other consented informal-retail video set.
