Learner corpora like ICNALE and TOEFL11 are prompted essays on set topics; this is real coursework across subjects. Files are JPG, PNG or HEIC as submitted; no grades, rubrics or quality labels. Education models are trained on polished published prose and then asked to tutor, grade and give feedback on work that looks nothing like it; for tutoring, feedback and grading research, this is the real work, commercially licensed.
